About Us

Giao Quynh Pham was born in Saigon, South of Vietnam, and resided in California since 1999.

Giao was trained as an artist in both Chinese and Western traditions.

Giao  can move between the two with great ease, and developed her own style of surrealism with some inspiration from the impressionists for their powerful use of vibrant colors.

Her paintings are a combination of the Asian  and Western style.

She is specialized in: Silk & Watercolor painting, Chinese painting, Oil & Lacquer with brighten colors.

Beside paintings, she got a degree in Graphic Design from Golden West College.

As a hobby, she likes to work with clay & ceramic and use her creativity to design and make her own jewelry & scarves.

Member of the “Rainbow group”- A group of young Vietnamese artists from Saigon.

Member of “The Galaxy” – A group of female artist in Vietnam.

Member of The Art Society of Saigon, Vietnam.

Member of The World Art Foundation organization, Brea, CA, USA. 

Member of The Los Angeles Art Assosiation ( LAAA), LA, CA, USA.

Her first exhibition was in 1989 in Saigon & abroad until today. As time allowed, Giao tries to exhibit her paintings once a year or more.

She got an award from the Asian Pacific Art Exhibition organized by the city of Los Angeles (2004).

Her paintings are in private collections from around the world-namely, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, UK and USA.
